I'm selling my trusty f4i. I've owned it for almost 8 years and it's been rock solid reliable and a lot of fun, but it's time for something new. I just finished a 3,200 mile tour through 8 states plus British Colombia on it and I'm yearning for something a bit bigger. The bike didn't burn a drop of oil in those 3,200 miles. It's the most reliable bike you'll find that's great for everything- commuting, track days, sport-touring or just tooling around the bay area backroads. You can literally ride this bike across the country tomorrow if you wanted to.
Other goodies to note:
- Ohlins rear shock
- Always used Honda GN4 oil and either OEM or HiFlo Filters since I've owned it (purchased at 18,000 miles).
- Powercommander
- Delkevic exhaust sounds nice, good bark but not obnoxious. Original exhaust included with sale.
- Gold chain and trick Supersprox sprocket.
- Bike is geared down slightly for faster acceleration, has a speedohealer.
- NRC racing stator cover
- .95 front Racetech springs, I still have the OEM springs if you want them.
- Grip warmers installed
- Manual Cam Chain Tensioner (CCT) installed.
- 2 seats (One I installed a gel pad in it for touring, the other is stock for track).
The bike has all original plastics but they are rashed. This bike is for riding, not posing at Starbucks
Might in interested in trades (with cash on top if needed) for: CBR1000rr, Triumph Tiger, KTM SMT or some larger sport-tourer or ADV bike.
