For sale is one 1996 Ford F250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel. 2wd, 5spd manual, extended cab.
Currently has 260k miles on it.
I am the second owner and have had it since 2011.
Good:
Clutch and tires both have about 10k on them.
Front end has been gone through and is very firm. No leaks, rattles or squeaks. All windows, locks, lights, and horn operate as they should. Body is in great shape. New springs, shocks etc. Has a nice class III hitch too, with a four and seven pin connector under the bumper. Comes with a brake controller as well.
Bad:
The drivers seat has too many buttmiles and a matching huge tear in it. For no extra fee I'll toss in a pillow to pad your posterior. The A/C doesn't work. The compressor seized up and as I never used it anyway, I pulled it and just put the same year idler pulley there.
It has the dual tanks-and it's either dependent on the fuel station or something to do with the truck, the front tank dislikes being filled quickly. The rear tank has no such issue, and the front/rear switch thinger works fine between the two tanks. Perfect for those who'd rather just jam it in the rear. The carpet is stained beyond any hope of cleaning.
This is a good running vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere/tow anything with it. I liked it enough that I bought an identical truck, except in crew cab form (I have too many kids), which is why this one is for sale.
Can deliver within reason, either driven or towed. Happy to help with a fly and drive.
$5000 OBO. No trades.
