Moving away to NC. Have to get rid of the bike!
This is a damn bargain.
SOLD!!!!
1994 Honda VFR 750 F
52,000 mi. (has had various sprocket combos over the years, so actual mileage quite lower)
-Sargent seat
-1/2" bar risers
-Smoke windshield with Laminar lip (detachable)
-BMW-type electrical outlet plug in steering head. Never used it, you'd have to check if it works. Nicely installed. I just have nothing that has the correct connector to plug into it!
-Braided front lines
-two shop manuals
-original toolkit and owners manual
-seat cowl and grab handles
-center stand (not pictured, off bike.)
-Salvage title. Reason unknown.
Whoever buys it is welcome to any of my maintenance stuff, including lube, etc. Just need it gone.
I'll throw in a Viper exhaust that looks and sounds terrific on this bike. However, I do believe it needs to be repacked as it has gotten to be quite loud! Too loud for me!
Bought this bike with salvage title about 5 years ago. It had under 24,000 when I bought it. Have no idea why it was salvaged, as it was in great shape. It has never left me stranded and has been an awesome bike for me. This bike could be ridden to New York tomorrow.
Still get comments on this believe it or not. Italian red paint still looks good. This bike has all the associated scratches and whatnot for a bike of this mileage. These bikes are legendary for engine durability and longevity. Everything works! Has fresh oil change and fairly good Pilot Power tires.
The bad:
-Has very common problem on these bikes: rear tail has gotten a bit rickety. I used red tape to reinforce as seen in photo. Someone with brains could do a better job!
-Shifts well, but sloppy shifts to second will be rewarded by a false neutral.
-This bike could use: Fork seals, clutch line bleed/fluid, and a tune-up at some point. Runs great but with get a backfire sometimes. Burning a little rich.
Come have a look. Welcome to ride it with cash in MY hand.
