Not Sure
I like money.
!!!SOLD SOLD SOLD!!!
This is the holy grail of the 300zx N/A culture, a custom ordered (NOT base model) and completely original 1 out of around 2500 slick tops (non t-tops) that were brought to the USA. This model is around 100lbs lighter, and more rigid due to the lack of t-tops... no strut braces needed!
First, this is THE FUNNEST car I have ever owned, period. Small displacement turbos, v8's and the like just do not provide the race car like driving experience of the Z. Second, I had planned on keeping this car for the rest of my existence, but life happens and now I am letting it go.
1991 Nissan 300zx(s)
Naturally Aspirated 3.0 v6 - 220HP
5 speed manual transmission, rear wheel drive
2 seater (grey leather with ribbed pattern, yes the unobtainium ones.)
Chrome OEM wheels
Power door locks, windows, mirrors
Cruise Control
Climate Control system
The good:
This car is completely UNmodified and original.. always maintained with OEM parts.
The interior is in GREAT condition... close to perfect, minus a small bit of wear here and there.
Drives perfect, handles like a dream and needs nothing as a daily driver.
Great miles for a 26yr old car at 156k
A/C works perfect
Heater works perfect
All electronics work (as far as I can tell)
Most common 300zx problems have been addressed and resolved.
20mpg for a sports car (300 per tank)
All installed in the past 2 years:
New ONE PIECE drive line - super smooth driving, 0 vibrations
New battery
New spark plugs
New heater core
New radiator
New water pump
New brake rotors/pads F/R
New tires
New clutch kit/flywheel
New shifter bushings
New o2 sensors
New front bushings
New struts all around
Registered to 8/18, passes smog no problem - will smog with sale pending.
The not so good:
Power steering leaks a little
RMS was replaced but still leaks a tiny bit
Starter slips on engagement on a rare occasion
Small body damage on rear of car, does NOT affect driving and is purely cosmetic - (car was backed into in a parking lot by big truck.)
Dings/dents here and there
Aftermarket cd player
Previous owner took out OEM bose speakers and installed crappy aftermarket
20mpg
I am sure there are more details, please ask if interested. This is a super rare and highly desired model, I really do not want to let it go but I must.
Priced for a quick sale at $3,000
Located in San Jose - cash in hand for test drive.
