1987 Honda TLR200 Reflex vintage twin shock trials motorcycle AND dual sport. The TLR came fully street legal to California from Honda and is currently registered in California as street legal with plate, title, and registration in my name. Currently non op'd with the proper paperwork and set up for vintage trials events without the plate and lights mounted.
Fantastic fun way to try trials, teach a friend or family member to ride, keep as a buddy bike, camper bumper bike, or just go out and explore.
The bike was stripped down to the frame and every aspect of the bike thoroughly gone through as I set it up for Sacramento PITS vintage twin shock trials bike events. More than can possibly be shared in this post was done, and happy to share its entire history with any potential owner. As is, its needs nothing mechanically. Just add gas, kick, and go.
Anything that needed repairing, replacement, or tuning was done with OEM parts where available to function as intended by Honda. OEM Honda carb rebuilt and rejetted.
In decent cosmetic shape. There are some dings in the tank as pictured as well as one very small crack on the bottom of the left side side panel about 1/4" long.
New items of note:
Trials tires and tubes
Oversized pegs and bolt on brackets relocating them back and down for proper trials position (five minutes to bring back to stock and oem pegs included.)
Clutch cable, fibers, steels, and springs
Chain and sprockets
Forks rebuilt
Betor trials shock from Europe with extra set of springs (different rate for heavier riders if needed)
Fenders, side panels, and front trials plate from England (spare fenders included)
Bars and grips
Bearings where needed
Rim and spokes as needed (have rare spare spokes too)
Ton of spares and factory Honda service manual:
OEM electrical harness, speedo and drive for those wishing to put lights back on
New levers and brakes
Clutch
Spare tank needing work
OEM shocks
Multiple fenders
and more
Bike is located in Lake County, but in the Bay Area weekly. Not interested in any trades, cash only.
