The Curmudgeon
I test rode the Ulysses two different years, liked the 2.0 version better, but couldn't get past the fan blowing on the rear jug. Too much a bandaid.

Air side air scoop ($70) pretty much eliminates the need for the rear sucker fan, it only comes on when you I turn the bike off now (so the plastic bits don't get melted)

It's a pretty flipping awesome motorcycle. Might replace a few bikes in my stable.

this is not street bike, N/A

It was a legal street bike in some needed quantity of a small country as to allow it as a superbike for use in racing here.

As to the fan on the rear jug of the Ulysses, it is tied to a thermostat that will turn it on when rolling or parked. I remember it on during my test ride of the 2.0 in Rapid City '07, and running after I parked it.

Guess I'm keeping the '07. Got stupid and put way to much time and $$ into her.
