Sierras Land/Acerage Real Estate Agent?

I'm looking at purchasing some land in the Sierras, probably around 30 acres somewhere between Oakhurst/Arnold.

Probably looking to purchase something by the end of summer, and I want to start talking to an agent familiar with this sorta thing and get looking at some properties.

Has anyone dealt with an agent who "specializes", or at least familiar with this process?

I've already got a pretty good idea of how it works, a few friends have property and have gone through the process. I have their agent's contact info, but they both are out of the Mariposa area and don't deal a lot with land/Acerage.

Any help from some BARFers?

Oakhurst to Arnold is over a 100 miles apart and I think it would be difficult to find a agent who is familiar with all those areas and willing to drive that distance to show you a property

I would suggest that you narrow down the location by looking at realtor.com for properties and if there is something of interest then ride / drive out to see the area and location first

This is what I did when I purchased my place up in the hills

Not looking for one agent to cover the whole area. Looking for suggestions for agents in the areas between.
