Well, if you're going to run from the cops do it in style.....

A biker led police on a high speed motorcycle chase through two Southern California counties while performing stunts and appearing to take a selfie. He taunted California Highway Patrol officers at speeds of over 100 mph and ran several red lights. During the hour long pursuit he even climbed onto the seat, let go with his hands and stood up.

watched it this morning on the news and lol when the dude started stunting. loved the reporters commentary on the news report i saw 'standing up on the bike at over 100mph', which was clearly ridiculous to say. and topped off by the dude stopping for gas. the charges seem to reflect that he was relatively harmless. not a great day for making the case for responsible moto riders and riding, but kinda funny just the same.

for reference, i did a whole bunch of seat standing on my RC51 and i will tell you that, at over 50 it starts to get pretty hairy.
