And there you have it - long and strong, but entertaining none the less.

What's with this forum's limit on pics per post?!

Also, if anyone has any more pics of Hayden's crash, I'd love to see them.

Wow good story. I wasn't going to read it all but got sucked it as usual on here. I might have seen yeah on your way home. I was up drag racing the same weekend in seattle. The following monday we were headed down to sonoma and saw so many bikes. My team (at the time) was asking why there were so many bikes. I said oo because the race I had tickets for but had to sell because I was racing was going on this weekend. Now there all headed home.

Awesome that you got to sit on Hayden's bike. Very few get that chance.

Nice pics and story. Just glad it was only a 2-pager. ;)

Jeopardy, quiz time.

A: How many people does it take to hold up one light-ass Hayden bike?

Q: What is three horny riders? :laughing

Great photos and write up. However, you missed out on a wonderful ride I did a few years back. Should have taken this route...

Uh, I think this is Alpine Meadows Ski Area

Thanks for sharing & posting some great pictures. I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of Hwy 89.
The picture is of the Homewood Ski Area not Alpine Meadows. Alpine Meadows is just a few miles North of Tahoe City, on Hwy 89 and you cannot see the slopes from Hwy 89. Homewood is a 6 miles south of Tahoe City, right on Hwy 89.

Ahh, that's a great route. I've driven that numerous times, although I must say the route we took out of Bend was much more enjoyable on the bikes. Heading across the straight roads from Redmond to Warm Springs kinda sucks.

We did a ride close to that on Memorial Day weekend:

Here's a link to the GoogleMap with pics and such if anyone's interested:
