It was a little too early for the sun to be an issue, but it was in a curve with limited visibility. I didn't see the cow, so I guess it survived. Hopefully, the rider is at least as lucky.

Doubt if the court will hold the owner liable, without an attorney that costs more than the award would be for. Cattle get out of fences.

Clearly you need occasionally to take a step back and think about what you post. For instance, I don't know the rider involved, but I know the road. One does not expect cows on that road. Shit happens sometimes.
