Man, this a most impressive and encouraging story. In under 48 hours, donations were taken, not one but TWO bikes purchased and given to the family.

Way to go!!! :thumbup

I just wanted to let all of you know that a member of our forum the V4hondabbs is a member here and told us about what you all have done. I was proud to join you (even tho im in New Joisey) if only to let you know what a terrific thing you all have done. Youve done the whole biker community proud. It really gave me a "warm fuzzy" that i really could use this year. I was so impressed i didnt hesitate much at all to fire off a letter to my local news outlet, NY ABC, and i hope they pick it up, you deserve all the kudos coming to ya.
Can someone just correct me if i misunderstand but are you still collecting money? Things are mighty tight here, but you all, including the businesses, stepped up so big, im inspired.

Job well done all of ya !

(PS: please dont mind but im going to repeat this post in the thread with the pictures so everyone knows just how well you all have done, and how word has gotten around of your good deed)

BARF has it's faults like every foruim out there. But when they come threw for a family like this they really do it right. It's the reason I stuck it up on a few foruims encluding the V4 board.

These folk's really did a great deed and It should be told. Seems like we are quick to exspose the bad things that happen and the good goes un-notice......not this time. Nice Job BARF.

FWIW, couldn't get the gear without knowing what would fit and the family has now already gone in to CycleGear. :eek:)
