Storyboarding South Park scripts. :rofl:rofl:rofl It's like a public service for fans of the show.

In the paragraphs about number of people interested in philosophy-n-shit, they should have had the index read "pretends to be interested in philosphy-n-shit. I am just going to infer that's true. I wonder if use of the word "meta" fits in there anywhar. Or number of sentences that begin with "so."

Love it.

"Pretends to be interested in philosophy " is something i encounter so much in Marin and SF it's wild.

It's want to feel like it, but never actually read or studied any continental philosopher or even know what that means. Don't know Samuel Beckett, never read a Vedas, couldn't name me a single African writer. Might have a satre book on the shelf, but never read it. Don't know Stuart mill, Goethe, etc etc

It's usually cover for "I post quotes on Facebook"

But all those venture capitalists need an interesting 'hobby' to put under their corporate headshot

Still I'd really rather live in any of the cities on the pretentious list than the other list. By far.

san jose #2? Seriously? Don't believe it.

Me too.. no way are they close.

the million people limit makes a lot of the Cities that would be rocking that title even more so than our own SF.

Shallow Alto would rank up there I am sure.. :laughing

This is the one that got me.

•Indexed number of people interested in Moleskine notebooks by metro area. The greater the interest, the more pretentious. :rofl

Ew! San Jose? Please. They don't draw the correct amount of leaf points in my latte. Not nearly as qualified Baristas..

Yea, what the hell? That's bullshit. They must be lumping us in with the Apple communities (Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Los Altos) to give us that rating.

The number of Whole Foods per capita. The higher the concentration, the more pretentious. The number of Walmart stores per capital. The lower the concentration, the more pretentious.
SJ has two Whole Foods stores, SF is the only other city in the bay area that has 2+ Whole Foods stores (I think).

These #s are from a Keurig competitor, so it's all for fun anyways :).
