85'RZ350 clutch grabbing when engine is cold it will release when engine temperature is at 170 degrees or hotter, lever adjuster is all the way out, action is stiff as hell, but no slipping.I just want a user friendly clutch! I'm thinking maybe pushrod and friction plates, and springs need to be replaced, but I do not have much experience in this department!

Years ago I bought a used dirt bike with a similar clutch. Very Grabby and not smooth at all. Dropping it into gear would kill the engine etc. I purchased a very small tube of additive made to fix just such a thing in a wet clutch. It was a dime sized plastic sleeve heat sealed on each end, but for the life of me I can't remember the manufacture. It could be Bardall. I added it to the gear oil and in a ride or two the clutch was perfect. You might try finding something like this before you tear the clutch apart. It may work for you too.

Dammit Bobby.
I'm certainly no expert, but it could be the basket has teeth worn into it in the "engaged" position, so it doesn't release properly when pulling the lever. If you look at the basket, and the fingers aren't smooth, there's your problem. Had this issue in 2 different bikes is the only reason I mention it.

I think what you have is an old Barnett clutch, that is the way they acted, there are many choices now some good some not, if you can live with it it is a clutch that will last for many years, do not throw it away if you replace, keep it bagged for the next owner.
I have had many bikes with Barnett's.

But then I'am an OLD GUY!
