Rush Limbaugh...dead

Rolls with it...
Why don't people mention how Hitler was a really decent artist?

It's always the negative!

:dunno

Not bad, but not great.

I've been avoiding the Hitler comparison because it's just hyperbole but not talking bad about the dead extends to literally everyone, then he would be there too. I dare someone to tell me I lack class, grace, respect, and humanity for calling out shitbags for being shitbags unless they're ready to defend fucking Hitler.

the dead, only good. Joan Crawford is dead.
Good. “ - Bette Davis on the death of Joan Crawford

It's very similar to the old tired argument that executing vicious murderers is murder too and makes us no better than the criminals we're executing.

"If you kill a killer, the amount of killers remains the same."

- Batman

"But like... Batman, what if that killer killed tons of people and would have killed more?"

Also Batman, "I don't use guns but I'll blow the fuck up out of your car with rockets from my Batplane and Batmobile."

DC extended universe Batman uses guns.

In the comic he shoots him in the face but they changed it to blowing him up which is effectively the same thing.

He did usher in an amazing era in technology, industrial technology, aerospace, etc

Like his beautiful autobahn, die Straßen Adolf Hitlers

And the iconic VW beetle. The car for the people, Kraft-durch-Freude-Wagen, that everyone could afford to own. Unlike these damn Teslas.

Did he really? I have never heard about that one. Just extermination camps.

Or was it the twist on indentured servitude?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Nazi_Germany

Nazi Germany maintained a supply of slave labor, composed of prisoners and concentration camp inmates, which was greatly expanded after the beginning of World War II. In Poland alone, some five million people (including Polish Jews) were used as slave labor throughout the war.[13] Among the slave laborers in the occupied territories, hundreds of thousands were used by leading German corporations including Thyssen, Krupp, IG Farben, Bosch, Blaupunkt, Daimler-Benz, Demag, Henschel, Junkers, Messerschmitt, Siemens, and Volkswagen, as well as Dutch corporation Philips.[14] By 1944, slave labor made up one quarter of Germany's entire work force, and the majority of German factories had a contingent of prisoners.[15]

AFAIK Rush did not commit any crimes. Hitler did.

Is calling him a shitbag because of his actions or opinions?

A lot of people agreed with his opinions.
Hopefully, no one would agree with any of his bad actions.
I was not a follower of his. Did he do bad acts???

At best, Hitler was a mediocre artist.:wow

A lot of Nazis agreed with hitler. What is your point?

Yes, he did bad acts. He promoted hatred and racist views. Someone having a shitty opinion makes them a shitty person.

He began airing “Barack, the Magic Negro,” a racist parody song about then-Sen. Barack Obama’s popularity with many white voters, in 2007.
In John K. Wilson's book, The Most Dangerous Man in America: Rush Limbaugh's Assault on Reason, the host was quoted as saying this homophobic statement: "When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult; it's an invitation."
In his "Undeniable Truths," written as part of an article for the Sacramento Union in 1988, Limbaugh wrote, "Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society."
In a later updated version, he wrote:
"The Earth's eco-system is not fragile."
"Women should not be allowed on juries where the accused is a stud."
"The Los Angeles riots were not caused by the Rodney King verdict. The Los Angeles riots were caused by rioters."
On The Rush Limbaugh Show in 2004, he said, "I think it's time to get rid of this whole National Basketball Association. Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association, and stop calling them teams. Call 'em gangs."
As a young broadcaster in the 1970s, Limbaugh once told a Black caller: “Take that bone out of your nose and call me back,” according to Fair.
During The Rush Limbaugh Show in 2013, he said, "If any race of people should not have guilt about slavery, it's Caucasians. The white race has probably had fewer slaves and for a briefer period of time than any other in the history of the world."
During The Rush Limbaugh Show in 2017, regarding LGBTQ+ politicians being elected to office, he said, "I guarantee there'd be some people in the Republican establishment who will now think, yeah, we need to do this. We need to provide a home, we need to provide a comforting atmosphere for the tranny community and the gay community. But those people are voting Democrat anyway."
" 'Ching cha. Ching chang cho chow. Cha Chow. Ching Cho. Chi ba ba ba. Kwo kwa kwa kee. Cha ga ga. Ching chee chay. Ching zha bo ba. Chang cha. Chang cho chi che. Cha dee. Ooooh chee bada ba. Jee jee cho ba.' Nobody was translating, but that's the closest I can get," he said on his radio show while "translating" Chinese President Hu Jintao in 2011.
Limbaugh called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” after she publicly advocated for universal contraception coverage, NPR reported in 2012.

Why are you defending such a shitbag?
