I hadnt seen a thread on this day yet and I couldnt figure out why no excitement yet.. I sure am excited. This will be my first day back on the bike since february because of back problems which had been giving me trouble for the last nine months or so. I had been having bad pain at the days I did make at the end of las year too and it all culminated in Spine surgery on,,,,,6/6/06. Regardless of the date it went really well and I am feeling better tan I have in a long time. Working out and focusing on being ready for 8/7-8. I am stoked but kinda nervous too as it feels like a lifetime ago when I was confident on my bike. Plus I am still trying to come to some kinda terms witht the liter bike after2 seasons on the six hundred. Well school should be the perfect place to focus on the fundamentals and get back to pace or at least have a good time.. i will have o see how I feel to determine if I partake in the three lap race at the end. Last time I came in second I think . We will see if I feel up to dicing or cruising. either way it will be good to be back

Well I was in but now I'm out... High sided T6 on Mon. broke bone in r/hand which may req. surgery, broke bone in l/foot,frac. a rib L/side & sore as fuck every where else. The bike is a mess. Anyway have fun & take it easy your first days back. Ride smart I wasn't and paid the price.

Hey Tim! Good news and glad you are back on the track ripping up tires and shunting the smaller bikes off with a well placed kick. You'll have so much fun and it should be cooler. We missed you out there, no one to pass. :) Anyway i look forward to riding with you again.

Ernie

PS: Sears was hot yesterday, I am sure you felt it at home.

I have been in Cabo San Lucas this week. Nice but not much to do but sit in the pool. I did try parasailing, well puled b ehind a boat like a lure anyway.. it was kinda fun but I kept focusing on the gear they used. Carabiners with no lock ( you could just unhook yourself ) and all the webbing was pretty frayed , and te knot from the line to the harness looked tied by a drunk boy scout. Once i got over that it was fun.

i guess it has been cooler here than there only 102 every day.

And i will remember that passing remark Ernie:wow

ex-AFM these days
I'll be there.

Now if I can get that new rear subframe off ebay today, I'll stop stressing about having a functional bike in time...

We can set up tomorrow afternoon right? its gonna be great with only six of us there

I wouldn't count on it; SCCA is having a race weekend and every time I've showed up there when the cars were still there I've been told not to set up while the cars are still around.
