I'm curious - who are the youngest and oldest active AFMers? I know Bud Anderson just turned 56, and I also know of Cameron Gish and Anthony Alonso - although I'm not sure if Anthony is (or plans on being) a regular out there.

Anyone else come to mind?

I'm 65 but I am not racing. May or may not do a few this year, but not really active like Bud. I think Bob Karel is still licensed but don't think he is racing either. He's in his seventies. Anthony has to be one of the youngest ( and most promising.) I think one of these days we will see Brandon Kyee in the AFM, he's fun to watch, he WANTS to win.

You never heard Brian Davis call you out as "The Oldest Man in Sonoma County" during a race, did you... :)

gotta give my buddy jason uribe a shout out. definitely a young gun who races some afm.

Swell. How old is he?

Tom Montano still ripping it running top ten in the 600 Class.!!

Most definitely. Although if I overlooked the grey hair, I'd never know it. How old is he?

Isn't Reggie Pridmore 72? I'm pretty sure he rode AFM...

Probably is. If he still raced AFM, I'm sure he'd get some solid results too!

OLDEST? DAMMIT I THOUGHT HE WAS SAYING "BOLDEST"
Geez, I thought he said moldiest!:twofinger

Seems like if you raced just one race per year you could hold the title as oldest racing. Hell, I'd probably even buy you a plaque.

Love you Ernie!!!

47 and only started racing at 44 :) Getting faster(all things are relative) as I get older, I think I like that
It's amazing how herding skills as a young lad has developed the skills necessary to ride to the front now :p Only difference is leather gloves instead of velcro ones :laughing

Anyone have contact info for Montano? If someone can forward my email (citybikemike at yahoo) or my number (I'll PM it to ya) along to him, that would be rad. Trying to put together my next CityBike piece, would be great if I could get in touch with him.
