Lots of musicians dying lately.
Just saw this guy croaked just before his 49th b-day.
Although I own none of his music with the exception of Wall of Sleep on Nativity in Black- Black Sabbath tribute, I found his band in the 90s to be quite competent and decent sounding.
What I remember most about him was how, when they were touring with Pantera, he would go out to the loading docks with a little case full of swag. He would spend as much time as it took to hang out with fans, sign autographs and give them some memorabilia. I commented to him about this and he responded with a very logical, positive conversation on the why and why-nots of the responsibility of that part of the business.
Lesson I learned was not all rock stars are dicks.
RIP metal guy.
