I was headed west down LVR about 2 hours ago. A rider was at the side of the road, waving me to slow down... I pulled over to chat with him - he had been coming the opposite way down the hill and went down from the oily aftermath. He was ok, waiting for a friend whom he had phoned for assistance.

What a haunting image in that IJ article. Thoughts and prayers going out to the rider's family and friends. :rose
