Thank you for posting this! I still have fond memories of reading The Third Planet from Altair as a kid. It was written by Ed Packard and it looks like Montgomery was instrumental in getting Packard his start.

I LOVED choose your own adventure books as a kid. I used to re-read them until I had exhausted all plot possibilities.
