Sad day. So long Pancho. Thanks for the memories. There is a thread regarding this on Baja Nomads.

Sad to hear. One of my best Baja stories of this year's trip was telling people about meeting Pancho. I always ended the story asking who has the better life. Us living in Silicon Valley or him living on a beach in Baja. RIP Pancho.

Darwin's exception
Highlight of this years trip was drinking Panchos "secret" liquor drink, asking him about the singles scene At Punta San Rafael, and hearing his Nicolas Cage stories. RIP Pancho. A Baja legend!

Perhaps this belongs in the public adv forum? Lots of folks who have traveled to Baja have either met or heard of Pancho. Maybe John can move it?

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have been by his place at least twice, but never had the fortune of meeting Pancho.

Godspeed Pancho. My the secret liquor drinks never give you a hangover and the views always be beautiful!

Spoke to Bajasly yesterday, he's my waterjet guy here and we've been doing business together for 15 years. He was pretty bummed about Pancho as he normally hangs out with him and fishes that bay when down there. Said he convinced him to go to BoLa finally and took him up there on his way back to CA, then got a text from his buddy (Jose)that was taking Pancho down to GN when he passed. Said that spot won't be the same without him, sorry to see such a mainstay pass.
