Yeah I didn't know either. I was always a fan. She seemed like such a warm and genuine person with a calming spirit. She would have been welcome in my home anytime and it felt like she was when she anchored a show. :rose

I was also surprised when I was told. A great role model on how we'd want our children to act: with dignity and a strong work ethic. A positive American persona.
