RIP CulverDan - F*CK Cancer

Sad to announce that one of our own passed away after a fight with cancer this morning.

Dan was a great rider and did a lot of rides with me around the North Bay. He left riding to enjoy other interest but always had motorcyclist in his heart.

He still hung out with his dog keek at Moto stops around Berryessa just to chat with riders. He also came to the rescue of a few riders in need of gas, air or a ride, myself included.

Seriously, fuck cancer.

Just saw that the family is having a service, Saturday, July 14 at 2pm located at Impact Bible Ministries, 1680 Fairgrounds Drive, Vallejo.

I'm going to try and get off of work for it but if anyone is interested in attending.

This must have happened so fast.
He was going to hang here for a few months last December but he didn't say a thing about Cancer, if he even knew.
I feel terrible that I didn't follow through with him now.

Really sad that I fucked up so badly and lost my chance to at least say goodbye.
Fuck.
He was an easy going , happy go lucky guy.

Was very sad to hear of his passing. I'm not sure when he officially found out he had cancer, but from his Facebook posts, it was a relatively short period of time between when he found and out when he passed. From my understanding, his was already advanced and he decided to forgo traditional treatments and instead focus on enjoying his life, making some bucket list trips in recent months.

maaan I remember him attending a lot of Berryessa rides just a few years ago. Was such a cool guy, very friendly, clearly was having fun out with the boys on the motos - and always with his matching jacket! So happy that we got a pic of him (above) with him wearing it! I'm really glad to have met him and been a part in his life.
