Do they even care about the horse? I know they flew the rider out, but there was no mention about the horse. I'm assuming they called Animal Control or some shit and pawned it off to a different department.

I bet he did the Harley thing where they sneak up behind you with closed throttles. Then get real close as they ride by. Then go WOT right as they barely scrape your elbow. Horse probably freaked out and jumped into the road.

I dodged a couple of moose in Maine last month. Way bigger than horses, scared the crap out of me.

Hope the rider heals up and condolences to the horse.
Hell, you wouldn't even have to duck if you went under a full grown moose on a sportbike! :laughing

OUCH

Hope the rider has a quick recovery!

I know exactly where that is and the horses have been out before - lucky for me I saw them during daylight.

Is right behind you
Careful..... before you hit that horse you may want an attorney.

California Vehicle Code 21759 states that a driver of a car or truck must approach animals with care. If you come upon a horse-drawn vehicle, someone on horseback or livestock crossing the road, you must maintain control of your vehicle and slow down. If necessary, you may have to stop your car and wait for the animals to pass you. You must also follow all signals indicated by the handler of the animal, and stop or slow down as instructed.
