Warriors' Watch Rider
Wife and I were heading to the Giants game tonight and as we got closer the parking lot on the pier by Red's Java House we started seeing PD and fire approach. Looked like a male rider, looked like wearing just a white T-shirt and jeans, red sport bike with fairing. Rider was on the ground, helmet off. Bike was up on the sidewalk, appeared to have hit the large light/traffic signal pole. Major front-end damage. A grey BMW sedan was sitting right in the middle of the driveway into to the lot and turned out to be the other vehicle involved. Front of the BMW was scraped and the license plate had been half way ripped off. My guess is the BMW turned in front of the bike to enter the lot, bike swerved right to avoid and clipped it just enough to send him onto the sidewalk and into the light pole.
Thoughts going out to the rider, hoping he's okay and recovers quickly.
