REVER vs. Scenic

I have just moved to the Bay Area and downloaded both of these apps to try to find and plan out some cool rides. I am starting this thread for two reasons:

1. Please post opinions on which app is the best and why.
2. Please post any helpful tips on optimizing the use of these apps.

Any thoughts on either subject above would be amazing. :ride

A) Get out there and find your own favorite roads.

You’re near a bunch of great roads. You’ll have a better experience discovering them with a group than on a computer.

When it comes to planning longer trips I’ve been disappointed enough in the moto-specific apps to use platforms designed for bicycles instead (like RideWithGPS) but I still don’t bother planning my explorations…

Scenic was easier to use and i felt had what i needed. With that said there is a ton of superfluous stuff on both like marking hotel stops and every little pee stop. I just want a little red line to follow and ill decide how long it takes to get from one end to the other.

ADV is your place though. This subject has been flogged over there
