Damn stupid allergies.

I will say that, anyone with an opportunity to do something big for someone you love, especially someone that's older, do it sooner than later. I was really lucky and came into a little cash once and took gramps to Alaska when he was 80 and still with it. We had an amazing time and he spoke of it fondly for years. He's 90 now and not with it and unfortunately doing anything like that now would have no meaning to him. Time is precious and we have to take advantage of it with our older family members that are winding down.

Dang, even with the allergy warnings I thought I would stay dry. I guess it stings a little that I missed the chance to show my dad his Honda 90 that I learned to wrench on and rightly returned it to fully running and functioning condition. He passed suddenly a few months before I could finish it, be it (and he...for the love of all things holy my older daughter is 57% him...and I won't go into the gassy details!!), lives on in my family.

This video needs a shot of dad catching some wind, on the back, rolling thru the countryside.

thx

Means a lot to me. My dad was never into motos...but doing something meaningful while he can appreciate it...nearly 80...has been moved to the front burner.

Wow, such kindness to do that for Gramps! Very cool that he immediately saw the headlight ring was not original. Shows that he was really reconnected to his old two wheeled love.
