one of the most heartbreaking things for me is how hard she worked for the vast majority of her life, up until the very end. she did not live to see the day when her work was done, or when her mission was handed off to capable hands - either of which would have allowed her to be at peace, and enjoy a moment of rest in this life.

i can only hope that having given it her all, she found some comfort in that in her final moments.
