Repair shop in the Peninsula, close to Mountain View?

Hey all, long story short, I had my bike parked in SF last night for about two hours. Some car did a hit & run so I'm going through my first insurance claim. I need to get the bike checked out at a shop for an estimate, since I used to do all the work myself, I don't have a go-to place. Any recommendations? I tried searching around in the forums, can't believe there isn't a directory for mechanic shops, though I did see the one for purchasing gear.

There was a recent thread that was focused on San Jose, was hoping there might be a closer shop to Mountain View? Thanks!

What about the Moto Cafe or whatever they (peninsula/Pop Kenyons) call themselves these days in MTV?

Thanks for the tip. Looks like its these guys, mixed reviews on service, but they might be worth dealing with since they are close.

If it's an insurance job, let the dealer handle it. You can also try Fremont Honda Kawasaki in Fremont. Eddie runs a good shop as well.

Not the same Jim Davis. I'm not sure where Jim is at these days. He was next door to Helimot in SJ but the building was sold out from under them both. Helimot moved to Fremont, not sure where our buddy Jim landed. Anyone know??
