Rega Triumph Turntable Give Away

Rega UK, which makes different kinds of digital and analog audiophile equipment has partnered with Triumph Motorcycles, and has created a Rega/Triumph Turntable. Actually they've produced two, and only two. Triumph is going to give both of them away for free. Here's a link to Rega's info... http://www.rega.co.uk/news/triumph-turntables.html

They look pretty cool, but the speculation is that it's based on Rega's P1, which is Rega's entry level deck. Still, kinda cool looking. There is more info on Triumphs Twitter and Facebook feeds, but I don't have accounts at either, so I don't know if they've given these away yet, or not...

Looks like a cool slip mat that would work on any TT and a silkscreen or decal on the actual TT body.

Don't disagree at all. Still, if it were free it'd make a terrific moto garage addition. No Twitter or Facebook though, so no free Triumph TT for me. :(

The new TT I'm most exited about is Schiits. Schiit, until now, has made all digital equipment. Their DACs were and still are market disruptors because they work extremely well while being incredibly affordable. Their new TT looks like it'll do the same thing. Here's a link to a cool article and a vimeo video...

Agreed. Although instead of a brake rotor wouldn't a clutch be more appropriate? :)

I'm all digital so no slip mats for me :(

Mike Moffat of Shiit was one of the minds behind Theta Digital. In their heyday their DACs and transports were some of the best. Glad to see he's getting all mechanical.
