I have been postponing this for a long time but time has come for me to put it behind me. Any recommendations? Thank you.

Radio advertises Legal Zoom, sounds like an option for Wills and Last Testaments.
There is a Free option online that can be a stop gap.

Suppose It takes an expert if the situation is unique enough that doesn't fit common models.

Goodluck on getting things squared away.

Yes, do a living trust for sure! That will reduce a lot of headache working with the state.
My father-in-law specializes in family law and trusts.
He works in Roseville, but can probably do the majority of the work remotely if you aren't up in the Sacramento area often. Message me if you would like his contact info, even if it's just to inquire about his services.

Yes to a living trust, a will, and durable power of attorney for financial and health. You need someone who will ask the hard questions on money and health.

perhaps a living trust would be better for your loved ones

This. Depending upon your level of assets and family situation, a trust is often a much better option for transferring assets upon death. Much easier on the family than going through probate with a will.

Will, trusts and estate plans in general, need to be reviewed and updated every 3-5 years.

There are many attorneys to choose from. Check "estate planning" lawyers.

Avoid estate planning services, like the plague

Since there aren’t many Group Rides can we do a Group Will? Those of us with multiple bikes want to think they’re going to a good home.

I’m not a lawyer but I’m going to pretend that there is such a thing as a Deed upon Death or some such for real estate.
Without heirs I find it both difficult and entertaining to determine who gets which bike when I transition. Should be easy to figure out if you get that suspect title project bike!:twofinger

From my understanding, you want a Living Trust. Wills alone are next to useless at protecting your assets from being sucked by probate court.
