Recommend me some new grips.

I would like to get some softer grips for the Ktm. Who makes some good ones for all day riding?

Rizoma has some with chrome or polished aluminum inserts, in case you want your hands to slip off when they're wet. $150.

Or you can do like I do, when some Oury or Scott grips go on sale, for about $8, I buy a few sets. Nothing like new grips every couple of months. Cheap.

Renthall Diamond Softs. good grip in all conditions.

if you are looking for vibration absorption, ive never felt any difference between dual layer, gel, OE, etc.

Rolls with it...
Another trick you can try is tennis racket grip tape. It is available in different thicknesses and you can wrap the grips to your preferred thickness.

It's a lot easier and cheaper than new grips.

I"m not looking for vibration absorption, just more along the lines for cushion for when I am around town and traffic.

It's all in the thickness and how you wrap your existing grips...

I've done it for years, and it helps. If you want it cushion-y, you would probably have to change the tape more often than I would. I tried a few different kinds of grips before, and the more cushioned they were the sooner they would fall apart, especially on the throttle.

Right on, cheap and easy. I'll give it a try, just need a little something extra on there.

These are fantastic. I've been using them for a few years now. Helps with the carpal tunnel issues in my right wrist! :thumbup

Pro-Grip 719 rvgs gel grip

About $15, although Motowrx is pretty awesome about just kicking me down a pair when I need 'em! Got 'em on both race bikes and the Gixxer! :)

I had the renthal diamonds on my last bike and loved the feel, but they felt pretty thin and not very cushy. They'll be the next grip I buy for myself but probably not my first recommendation to someone looking for cushion.

Yeah, those Renthal light gray soft grips are awesome. Same as above, I wouldn't say they're cushy, but they're soft and tacky goodness.

They come in different thickness's. I use the thinner kevlar ones and love em but they're not for everyone. Pillow tops get torn up pretty quick imo.

I Love LOVE LOVE Renthol Kevlar's but nothing is for everyone else.

They just do it for me though, I'm more attached, while at the same time lighter/more relaxed grip...
that smooths everything else.

I Have heard about these. I think I'll be giving these a try as it's pretty much grip time for me too. :thumbup

Some folks go with Grip Puppies to increase the thickness of the grip and also to provide a softer feel. They are pretty cheap too, abt 9 bucks a pair. Good luck.
