Realtor in Tahoe Area??

A friend is retiring soon and looking at the Tahoe area.

Anyone recommend a realtor for that area??

I was thinking he ought escape Kalifornia if he was moving up there.

North bowl is popular (as is Minden and Gardnerville) and I just heard of a spot North of Tahoe (in Nevada) that's a golf community, nice homes that's getting recent traction- but they couldn't recall the name.

But ya a so long to CA income tax is pretty much his take.

Tahoe is bonkers now.

My mom is a Relator in Marin, so the knows the game. We stayed in Tahoe for vacation in September to look at vacation places. We looked at some around Truckee and I thought the value was terrible. Market is too hot. Relators were acting like the "Soup Nazi". People say "The interest rates are so low". And then the market values inflate to compensate.

She asked my honest opinion and I said it was a bad time to buy at the market high unless it a primary residence and you plan on staying a while. Then, no big deal.

She looked for months and then I think we decided that renting places is just fine.
