R-1 Fairing kits on EBay

SO I was talking to Chad over at BRG, and he says watch out, some of the fairing kits you can buy on EBay are pure garbage that either won’t fit, will snap on install, etc.

Does anyone know of a good company or seller on EBay that sells full fairing kits for the R1 that actually fits?

You need to buy an injection molded fairing kit which uses way more accurate molding technology. Also DHgate has generally the same selection but way less ebay fees and thus a cheaper price. So when you search just add 'injection' to your query

My friend got one for his R6 from Auctmart on eBay. Took them a month to get it here but it all went on pretty nice and looked great. I think he had to ream out 2 of th mounting holes and that was it.

ive used auctmarts replacement fairings on a 08 gsxr 1000, the white matched pretty spot on, quality was ok, fit and finish was ok

it fit 90% correct, and you have to lineup the last 10% because all the mounting holes were clearcoated and painted over, so they didnt line up unless you modified them.

fyi the bike was traded into a dealer, the plastics fit and finish were almost oem like after i was through with them, meaning pieces fit like oem and the color was pretty close as well even with oem and auctmarts side by side

It all matters how picky you are and how much you are willing to spend. For someone like me, I would rather get a whole set for $500 than spend $500 for just one piece even if I have to do some adjusting to get it right.
