Quite a collection of bikes

Rolls with it...
Nice collection, not an extended swing arm in the bunch...

Mavros passed way too young in a rather unfortunate way.

Awesome... some of the bids online are pretty reasonable.

Cool story about a passionate dude. :thumbup

Man let's not even go there... it gives me the chills just to think what he went thru. I had so many close calls when pulling my loaded RV because of oblivious drivers that have no common sense at all.
R.I.P. Charlie, I wish I could afford one your bikes.

There are a couple bikes in there that I would like to bid on and could afford but it is the unknown shipping costs that prohibit me from bidding. If you have to pick up by Thursday and you are not in driving distance, which I clearly am not in the Bay Area to FL, they kind of have you where you are at their mercy for shipping. I cant risk that.

I just glanced through the listings, it would be nice if there was more provenance on some of those bikes. I'd like to think some have a little more history than just being a 1990 Ducati or whatever.

A Tampa, Florida real estate entrepreneur, Mavros also was part-owner of a strip club in New York that was well-known for the celebrities who would visit and occasionally argue and more. His business enterprises succeeded wildly. And Mavros used his wealth to pursue his passion—road racing motorcycles.

Sounds like a fun guy who got all he could out of life.

Oh man... legendary TZ750 is available. Provenance or not, there weren't many of these made and can only imagine what it's like wrestling to keep the front wheel on the ground. :ride

Of course, but you have to wonder if there is anything more to this bike.

I wonder if Barber is going to look at any of these bikes.
