QUESTION: Ninja EX250 fork spacing

Hello, I'm doing some crazy stuff and I need a spec from somebody before I waste my time. If somebody could measure the distance between the insides of the (upper) fork legs on this bike:

Kawasaki EX-250F2-F4, F6-F18 "Ninja 250R" (88-90, 92-04)

I'm talking about any Ninja 250 with 36mm diameter forks. I would appreciate the help. Alternately, if you come out to find your bike with a caliper between its legs. That's me. :wtf

"front fork distance:
i didn't take out the wheel to measure the gap in between the forks, but I did it the other way around,
wheel width = 101 mm
spacer = 26 mm (already taken out the part where it recess into the wheel)
speedo hub = 30 mm

so, roughly, it is 157mm."

thats the distance between the lowers, i need the distance between the uppers, in inches.

measured the gf's 06 ninjette, looks like 5 3/4".
