Question about payment

I've had terrible luck trying to contact anybody and I figured I'd give this a shot.

I paid for round 4 and tried to ask Lisa for a refund the week of the races cause I wasn't going to be able to make it out. I emailed her 3 times over the months and I recently messaged Berto.

I have gotten no response from either, is the $260 I donated to AFM just gone?

Not here to stir up any drama, I'm just curious if there is anything I can do? I'm not going to be able to finish out the season so race credit wouldn't be valuable to me.

Thank you for any answers I might receive.

I know that Lisa is out of state this weekend so I'll jump in and reply.

Entries are not charged to your card until the week before the race weekend. You can cancel or change your entry at any time up until then with no penalty.

Once your card is charged, if you then cancel your entry you receive a credit in the registration system that can be used as payment toward a future entry. The registration system tracks this automatically. Refunds are uncommon and I think only made if specifically requested with extenuating circumstances.

I do see your round 4 entry showing as canceled, and a $260 credit sitting in your account waiting to be used against a future entry. When you register for your next event(s) it will be automatically applied until fully used.

Hope that helps.

Ahh, I see. Looks like I'll have to get my bike fixed to make one more round this year :)

Thank you for the quick response!

I'm not OP but I have a similar credit sitting there waiting for me. To be clear, and this might help enwoo, the credits will carry over beyond this season, correct?

Another question, if I am not able to pull it together for last round. Am I able to sell my credits to another racer?

Maybe year credits, if not used for the remainder of the season, could also be used towards registration fees for the next season? A credit is a credit, so as long as it applies to AFM, it should be OK, right?

What are some thoughts on this?
