My first motorcycle that is NOT a sportbike, just put the pipes on two days ago, and man now i see why there are alot of harley d-bags that like to rev at stop lights lol , there pretty loud and fun lol

some things i notice so far the first 250 plus miles

1. Suspension what suspension? lol hitting a bump is lets just say WOW

2. Power, the torque is surprising it scoots along pretty good till about i think 60-70

3. Wind, wow having no fairings and body positioning not good for wind its like im a parachute holding on for dear life when its windy

4. Super easy to ride

5. Sound oh man love the sound

6. five speed, still taking some time to get use to. Ive caught myself downshifting too low

next mods, different bars , air filter, and springer seat

Not much of an HD dude, but that looks pretty tits. I think I'd ditch the reflectors and pretty much swap out anything that's red/amber. Hopefully you're not 6'4" 270lbs?

Nice. I've had mine for a year now. I replaced the rear shocks with progressives two days after taking it home. Also look into changing the front springs and heavier weight oil. I have the same pipe as yours, but I put some Smartpartz baffles to tone them down a bit and get some low end torque back. Paired those with the VH fuelpak to get rid of the pops on decelleration.

Enjoy modding the crap out of that bike. I sure did.

Nice bikes I like the drag bars.
I have a 48.
Yeah suspension, brakes, wind, suck and a little tough to throw around.
But great around town and my short commute.
I also have the forward controls which take some getting used to.
Also, feels funny switching between my sport bikes and my Harley.
But I like them enough.
Not sure if I would buy again though.
Maybe Monster or Multistrada next time.

Damn Chris, I didn't see that one coming :laughing

Nice lookin' Harley though; normally I don't care much for them but this one is a looker.

Congrats on the new bike. I like your choice.

Depending on what kind of riding you want to do, the first thing you may want to upgrade are the rear shocks. I heartily recommend these:

EDIT - I would really recommend upgrading the shocks versus buying a springer seat

Nice mods on that red/black bike, I was wondering what it would look like with flat bars.

Have fun modding it, Chris! Keep us posted on what it evolves into...
