Pea-sized gravel, color-matched to the road bed, from about 1/4 South of San Gregorio, all the way to Pescadero.
Hwy One.
Also Gazos Creek Road, from Pescadero Road to coast.

Signs out, but this will be a mess for some time.

Pescadero Road OK.

Yeah found that out the hard way this past Sunday. Went about 1/2 mile on Gazos before I said F this and turned around. I suspect that the affected roads will be utter shit through the winter and into next spring. :mad

I hate to kick a dead moose, but you would think the county would be able to use Larry Ellison's property taxes to repave all the county roads.

Chipseal is a hazard to anyone on 2 wheels.

Not only is Gazos a mess but Cloverdale is also chip sealed it's entire length. Ruined a short but nice road.

Still a mess, I found out yesterday, while thinking “I should have checked BARF!”

FLCL?
I rode it last weekend. Seemed mostly fine. Some super light gravel for like 2 miles out of Pescadero, but nothing major. :dunno

We should hire a street sweeper. Sell the gravel back to the quarry it came from to pay for the sweeper.

First of all, big thanks to the OP for this PSA:thumbup
Rode it this weekend, there were signs posted every 100 ft in bold lettering: "Slow" and "Gravel", so it looks like someone effectively complained to Cal Trans :laughing

But I agree with UDRider, actual road condition was definitely not that bad. It's not even close to Gilgit-Skardu Road level :rofl:rofl
