PSA: KTM 790 adventure790/R recall

Mr. Dual Sport Rider
Thanks for letting us know. Sounds like something I won't be in a hurry to get fixed. The only time I have heavy brake usage is on long rocky downhill dirt roads, and those are pretty rare. Although a couple of weeks ago after heading down one of those for quite a ways I decided I should have aired down the tires. The rear brake rotor was hotter than expected when I accidentally touched it while accessing the valve stem.

The annoying part is that I'll have to make an appointment that will be a week or two after the call and they are unlikely to be able to do it while I wait. And they're half an hour away. I'm missing Tri-Valley Moto where they would give you a loaner bike while they worked on yours. While I'm riding their Triumph Tiger, they can take as long as they want.

Maybe I'll do it like with my Mustang. One recall took me a year and a half to get around to it.
