Points points points

Super Dave

It’s time to ride.
It's sponsorship season and it would be nice to have the overall points posted. The AFM page is always blank.

There are 3 results / points pages at the AFM website through the main Results link tree.

1st is the MyLaps Results page where you will find the final official results for all races, usually posted within 24-48 hours after racing is finished. These results are embedded using script code from MyLaps within the AFM site and if you are having problems seeing anything there check your browser settings or try another web browser.

2nd is the Championship Points Standings by class page. These are also from MyLaps but through their new Speedhive system and as with the previous page these are embedded from the other website using script code at AFM website so if you have problems seeing them try a different browser or just go there direct.

3rd are the Overall Points Standings, which also come from Speedhive system as noted above.

Then there is Race Hero where you can find immediate (but not official) race results and access live timing on race weekends.

Race Hero is linked to from AFM website at top right corner of every page as is the main MyLaps Results page (#1 from above).

It's still a round behind but at least there's something.

As to the lag in updates, the website is just pulling what is on the MyLaps server and as I understand it, points are not automatically generated there from the race results, they are calculated separately and then uploaded to MyLaps after the race weekend. For info on this it would be best to contact Mary who handles timing and scoring, I'm just a web jockey and the results at the AFM website are automatically tracking what is on the MyLaps server.

Any suggestions on what might need to be changed in browser settings? Neither Chrome nor Firefox will show me any data on the Championship points, though I was able to see the overall points.

thanks,
Michael

Try going direct to the MyLaps Speedhive AFM page

https://speedhive.mylaps.com/Organizations/280994/Championships

If the direct page does not work for you then I can not offer any more advice other than trying a different computer on a different internet connection ;)
