PNW Trackdays anyone?

Quintessence of dust
I had one of my buddies bow out last minute, so I have a spot for one more bike in the trailer.
Going to Oregon Raceway Park(aka ORP) 8/10-11 with Motofit: http://motofitgroup.com/events/august-10th-11th-2019-oregon-raceway-park/
And then the Ridge Motorsports Park on 8/12 with Optimum: https://optimum-performance.org/product/monday-aug-12th-2019-the-ridge/
I’ll be up in the Portland area on family vacation the week before, so I’m pull my 7x14 enclosed trailer up Sunday morning.
Anyone interested in attending the events would only need to drop off your gear and bike by Saturday 8/3 afternoon, and then fly up to Portland on Friday 8/9, where I can pick you up and we can run the events. Afterward, we can all drive home together, or I can drop you off at the airport.
Bonus points for anyone who has Pitbull Trailer restraint pins for their bike.
If you’re interested, PM me ASAP

Huh, and here I'm wondering where the good tracks are. Ironically I happen to be in Portland this weekend. :teeth

"They" say that there's going to be more and better infrastructure going up at "The Ridge" this year.

the Ridge looks like a pretty cool layout.
Never got to ride it.

Portland is fun.

The Ridge is a cool track, and the last time I was there, infrastructure was totally reasonable. They had showers, toilets, and reasonable pavement. Definitely a great place to visit and worth the drive. Beautiful views and a nice change of pace from what we have here.
My last visit to ORP left something to be desired. The track doesn't do much for me, and the location is not a fun drive. It may be worth going here for no other reason than to grow your appreciation for what we have locally.

Yeah it does not have elevation changes and such, but it was fun to race on (which is all I did). The long straight start was mind blowing for a dude coming from Sears.

I love the big fast right hand sweeper at the back too. I could see where just doing a track day might be different.

The drive was what it was..11.5 hours of misery..:laughing

Budman, If I am going to drive 11.5 hours I am going to Parumph and Spring Mountain Park. Excellent tracks and great amenities. Only problem there is it can be over 100 easily in the summer months.
