okay well my buddy has had it with the stock 1000RR seats
His girl doesn't like the back and he gets butlock after a short ride
Corbins are running about $650 for both
Basically looking if anyone knows any good upholsters in the Bay area that can do a nice seat with gel or something in it to make his bike a little more comfortable
It's pretty bad when people would rather ride on the back of mine than his :laughing

damn, guess my post didn't save this morning. Here's what I said:

A gel seat or some other padding may be comfortable for a few minutes but after it deforms and your ass is riding on the seat pan you'll be wishing you had a corbin. Corbins hold they shape better and keep you off the pan. If you've never ridden with one, they are worth it - especially if you can afford to get it done to fit your ass.

I agree, my bmw rt had a shitty seat, I could about a hundred miles then my ass was hurting for the rest of the day, bought a corbin and that problem is gone. I had a custom one made which there is no price different. Make an appt. and show up, they even feed you and you get to watch your seat made and make changes. If you send you orginal seat in they will replace the padding for a lot cheaper, my buddy had it done and and says it great. I think it's about half the price. Call Corbin to find out. Got luck on that.
