Pirelli SC Question ... High Pressure's

I'm still trying to sort out cold tire pressure myself, lots of things factor in such as track temp, your pace, sorted suspension, and whether the tire is new or has laps on it.

How hard is it to sort out:

1. Wrap tires with warmers
2. Plug in warmers
3. Steal water from neighbor

Have to give you shit...I know you're in F40 next month.

I try to be as smooth as possible, but I am getting on the gas a lot sooner as I ride a crippled R6. I am slowly getting comfortable adding throttle while leaned over.
I am beginning to think that I am overriding the stock suspension. I ran 1:59s at buttonwillow AFM rd2.
I was running Pirelli V2 SC2's front and back.

O I am... I dont get it with Dunlops. I may have to try Slap on a pair of Dunlops to see if they do it now since my pace has increased.

IMO, if you're on stock suspension and looking to solve tearing issues, stop there...it's likely not solvable with the current stock setup. Given you're in a racing environment, grab Rob's shock and put some cartridges in the front end and run it. @ 1:59's, you're ready to do just that.

We do help AFM racers out at GP suspension...cause we love the AFM.

Well I have definitely gotten some good point, and I think its time to break the piggy bank. Much appreciated for the input:thumbup

if you are using a stock R6 shock, they are good for about 4 laps. If you are doing 6-7 laps during a session, then your shocks ability to control the spring fades and that then becomes for dependent on you and your tire to manage. You could try running 4 laps and coming in and examining your tire and pressures, and then do a full session and checking your tire and pressures and see what the deltas are for each condition.
