This way...That way...
ZX-10 is being prepped...And record smash is, so expected. Stay tuned.

The June 29th event?

I see a couple ZX10s entered, who are you thinking has the chance?

I notice Don Canet of Cycle World is running Open class as a rookie, riding a Ducati MTS. Should be interesting as he is a pretty fair rider.

:thumbup 29th was the date I saw...Don't know who all, or what all, is in the
competition....It should be a dog fight...And...The people involved with the ZX-10, are heavy hitters in all respects.

There is a detailed report on the ZX-10R.net sight, with the bike pictures....:thumbup

I just have to think, the ZX-10's power, and the way it delivers...Makes it the best candidate, to be the winner.

Not Erudite, just er
I was totally bummed when Pike's Peak Hwy was paved in '11. It's just not the same.

I still watch the races though.

Actually, for me, that intensifies the appeal.

The control of spinning up the tire, on pavement, to drive into the corners, flat tracker style..is a relative new world, with the power our bikes have now.

This new world separates the men from the boys. I just say, bring it on.
Tires, Smoke em if Ya got em. :laughing :ride

A modern liter bike with Superbike handlebars would rock. For you youngsters, Superbike bars are not clip-ons.

Agreed. Yeah, the pavement is trick and everything, but I really liked the dirt action personally. Of course, its always worth watching. :thumbup

I read Jeremy Toye is running up the Peak on a ZX-10.

Yes, pre-registered, Open class, Number 57. Listed as Rookie status.

A few new riders this year, should be interesting.

E-Bikes have an altitude advantage, no argument there. Will it be enough? Dunno. It was last year for sure....

I'm rooting for the ZX-10...Hope it's not in vein. :)
