a 2007 it had 300 miles on it, great shape runs good bought it private party. all you scooter gurus, what would you check or have done maintenance wise to secure peace of mind? i cant see anything wrong with it when i ride it but would like input on any DIY attention i can give it, and also a recommended scooter shop to take it to in san francisco/peninsula preferred, or even a side job person you all recommend in the 415/650 area.

reason for this scooter mainly, is to commute to home and bart (bart parking is free for MC's/scooters)...so i live about a mile from bart. The vino wont be racking up a whole lotta miles, and will be driven like an old man is on it.

any input is appreciated

I would start with an oil change to be safe. Super easy to do. If you plan to park your Vino at the DC Bart station, make sure to bring a big visible chain lock. Scooters get swiped all the time in the moto parking area.

You're bringing back fond memories of the scooter races we used to have in the shop after closing time. We'd move a bunch of cars outside and drop the roller door closed before throwing a little anti-freeze on the floor and slide 'em around for hours.
Good times.

I was given a rashed Vino 125 about a year ago. Fun to bomb around town on. Cheap and easy to work on. New parts are available and cheap. What's not to like? :ride

RevMoto up in Santa Rosa services scooters. They do pick up and delivery. I've been very happy with them!
