Photo shoot location where you can see traffic in background

Need a spot for the slow your roll campaign.
Prefer 280 or other near me. Mt. View/Palo Alto /SV/ Rwd City. Etc.

Any help appreciated. Shoot is Friday.

My favorite spot that I can think of is on top of Yerba Buena Island, looking east with the westbound traffic in the background.

101 near you: In the corner of the Home Depot parking lot near Ikea. (I think you can see the fwy from there.)

280 near you: Arastradero is sounding best.

280 not so near you: How do you like this for a background?

How much of Hwy 280 traffic do you need to see?

Maybe Cristo Rey Drive, which is the road off of Foothill to get to Rancho San Antonio Park.
There's one section that does look down onto 280 coming at you. Heaviest traffic at end of work day.

There are some spots on Canada Rd in-between Woodside Rd and Edgewood Rd with 280 running right next to it.

When we did my AMA cover shoot, they originally wanted the shot of me to have traffic in the background. Ultimately, they didn't use any of the traffic shots, or at least not a shot with lots of traffic in the background. But the shoot was right about here. We basically shot on the shoulder of the freeway, went back and forth trying to get a good view. Tricky.

TherE is an overpass near the Los altos country club that has no off or onramps, just connects one chunk of South Los altos to another. Very little traffic on the surface street, perfect view of 280.

Look for Mora drive. I am on my mobile or I would make a link, screen shot will have to do

East Bayshore Road in Palo Alto between San Antonio & Embarcadero
or
Manila Drive, just east of 101 between Moffett Field & 101.
