Parking in the Presidio

I was in the Presidio last night. There was a wall of motorcycle spaces with a sign that said MOTORCYCLES PAY FOR PARKING, but the parking receipt was just a piece of paper. There was no adhesive to adhere it to a windshield, and the instructions said to lay it on your dash, with no clarification for how motorcycles are expected to display it.

I just searched online, and see only an admonishment to "place the permit in a visible location." Is paying for parking just an honor system thing? Seems like those permits are way too easy to steal or blow away, and that enforcement would be nearly impossible unless you had someone watching a security cam all day.

Ask me about my B-1-D
I have a binder clip on my dash for these

also, paper parking tix often have a tear off receipt portion to prove payment if the main tag walks away

Near the climbing gym? If you're going to pay (most motos don't -- they just risk the ticket), just stick it between your seat and tank and take a pic.
