Old Star Wars books

I have dozens of old Star Wars books, think X-wing, yuuzhan vong series, and few Mech Warrior Series books. I am not going to ever read them again, and it's sad that they are just seating there collecting dust. As far as I can see my choices are donate all of them to the library, or put them up on Ebay for cost of shipping. Any other options I missed? There used to be used Book store in MV downtown, but it's closed. The one in Campbell doesn't want them. They are interested in new stuff.

Dang. Nice. Are those not part of the starwars Cannon anymore? I am looking for the X-wing books but could be interested in what you have depending on shipping.i see lots of them online otherwise see if the local comic book store would want them?

Not sure. I don't think they are, but I haven't been following it closely.

Hmm. Will ask comic book stores, but I think they would be more interested in new ones too. Plus hones6 condition of some books is not that great.

I wonder if programs like RIF (reading is fundamental) are still around. But I imagine eBay would turn up some buyers.

According to Disney anything outside of the movies, Clones Wars, and the Mandalorian is now considered non-canon.

I had an autographed though well worn copy of the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn, met him at a book signing at Bay Book & Tobacco in HMB back in the day.

No idea where they are now - I've searched everywhere. I have a sneaking suspicion my brother took them and won't cop to it, as my entire Star Wars collection mysteriously disappeared, but...

Go to a Sci-Fi convention, they will eat that shit up.

You know I think my sister and her husband did the same thing with all of my star trek and star wars collectibles that were at my mom's house. Sometimes family really sucks.

I had some very old star wars books
Splinter of the minds eye
Han Solo at Stars end
Han Solos revenge
All the Thrawn books
Han Solo and the lost Legacy
The ones where Luke opens the jedi Academy
Also a ton with Han and Leias kids.

Damn wonder what happened to them.

I don't think Disney will embrace the old Star Wars books because of the topics. Han Solo is a con-man, smuggler, gambler and gunfighter as is Lando. I doubt that the books will see any real value increase because they printed them in such high volume. The only chance is if you have a book that's in really good condition with no spine crease.

Yeah, plus Disney probably doesn't want to pay royalties, and can make more money putting out new stuff.

I don't really care about making money I just want them to be read and not end up in landfill.
