Kiss My Arse
Look at this old bugger. 15 years old and abandoned at the shelter. A gentle soul looking for a new retirement home.
Loves to sleep on my lap. He's quiet. Doesn't need much, just a warm place to spend his final years.
He's got a couple of things that come with old age: a heart murmur, and dirty teeth (and the heart murmur will probably exclude him as a candidate for a teef cleaning)
He is fixed, chipped and up to date on shots. We are fostering him on behalf of Contra Costa Animal Services (CCAS) because a 15 year old cat doesn't stand much of a chance in an overcrowded shelter, especially with all the kittens available.
Do you know anyone who wants a cat but doesn't want a very long term commitment? Wants a low maintenance cat for company on these dark evenings? Please spread the word
He will come with a care package of litter box, litter, scoop, bed, carrier and blanket. We'll also send him home with enough food to last six months. And, his adoption fee is waived. That's right. CCAS are waiving his adoption fees cos he is an old bugger
Located in Concord. You can come visit with him to see if he would make a good addition to your household and adopt him from here (I have permission from the shelter to adopt out)
Don't worry, he is not in kitty jail (photos) We have to assess behaviors when we get a new cat, so he is allowed to free roam when we are here, but when we are not here he is in his safe space
