OLD BIKE BARN ROCKS!!!!

reckon

the cake is a lie
I just got some parts I ordered off of "old bike barn" (barf sponsor)

fast service, great prices, they UNDERSTAND OLDER BIKES, and had sooooo much stuff for several of my vintage "oddities", I couldn't believe it.

I FINALLY have new swingarm and steering head bearings, and a source for the stators which seem to grenade after 15K on my bike (I've got 19K on it, so it'll happen soon)

great shop,...I am very happy

if you are riding around on a vintage japanese bike, you should check em out, bet they surprise you.

they surprised me.

Are they still in business?

I placed an online order Sept 30, paid for USPS Priority mail (I'm waiting on parts for the 82 Sabre project) and got email confirmation that day.

I emailed them yesterday (sales@) and haven't gotten a reply. Their 800 number (1-800-616-8495) says "no one is available to take your call" despite my calling during their announced business hours.

I'm not pleased.

Edit: Looks like their community forums started getting spammed on Oct 4.

budman confirmed Old Bike Barn is NOT a BARF sponsor.

Still haven't heard from them. Anyone know a way to reach these guys? Do I have to resort to calling their InterNIC registration info?

(does this belong in the garage forum?)

wow,..I just called them and no answer too,.....I just figured they didn't answer yesterday because of the quasi-holiday :wtf

figures, I see a cool vintage distributor BANNER here in teh barf, order sum shit, get pretty fast response, and now I can't get anything else? :mad

how do you get a banner up there ^, and NOT be a barf sponsor? :wtf
or
do I now need to worry about clicking banners, and ordering stuff from distributors here on barf? :|

Old Bike Barn came through with valve seals for my KZ 750 twin which are scarcer than honest politicians. I had just about given up on finding them.
